Jon Evans is an author, journalist, adventure traveller, and software engineer.

His novels have won an Arthur Ellis Award, translation into half-a-dozen languages, and praise from The Economist, The Times, and The Washington Post. Four of them are freely available online, under Creative Commons licenses: Beasts of New York, Night of Knives, Invisible Armies, and Swarm.
